Coast Guard Mutual Assistance

Coast Guard Mutual Assistance is an independent non-profit charitable organization established to provide financial aid to the entire Coast Guard family(Active Duty, Reserve, Auxiliary, and Civilian Employees) in time of need.  Though CGMA works closely with the Coast Guard, it is not part of the Coast Guard.  Its mission is to promote the financial stability and general well being of Coast Guard people through loans, grants, and financial counseling.

If you are an Auxiliarist looking to go to college or any other level of school; you are eligible for $160 a year in free grant money from the Mutual Assistance Fund in addition to low-interest loans.

If you are an Auxiliarist that has had an unexpected financial hardship, you are eligible for financial assistance from the Mutual Assistance Fund.
